The 51 was the 2nd year for the Bel Air and offered a look and features not offered on other Chevy models that model year. It rides on 15'' wheels with chrome wheels and whitewall tires. Body lines are straight, the doors shut nicely, and the paint has a good luster. The chrome and the brightwork are in good shape. Under the hood is a 235.5 CID Inline-6 with Fenton headers and Petronics ignition. Power meets the pavement with a 700R4 automatic transmission. It's converted to a 12-volt system with newer cloth wiring. The chassis, floors, and rocker panels are solid. A spacious interior features cloth front and rear bench seats, original dash, Beede gauges, and AM/FM MP3 hook-up retro in-dash radio. The door cards, seats, carpet, and headliner are all in great shape. The trunk is also nicely finished.
